I have called Australia home for over 15 years now and I absolutely love living in this beautiful country but being so far away from my family in Germany is hard at times. I try to travel home frequently and last time I was home I convinced my beautiful grandparents to let me take some photos of them. We visited a park near their house were we went many times as kids and Opa Charlie would tell us about the history of this place. In winter we used to go ice skating on the lake and the villa in the centre of the park was my princess castle I imagined living in when I was a little girl.
Iām so glad I took these photos and went for that walk with my Oma and Opa that day!
